Isabel Marant, known for her Parisian cool-girl aesthetic, draws inspiration for her creations from all corners of the world - from the American West to the French Riviera. Cultivating what Vogue describes as a "nomadic look," the French house has garnered the adoration of the young fashion world.

It's an image the designer herself has cultivated since 1989, when she launched her first brand of knitwear and jersey.  In 1995 she created her first complete line of ready-to-wear garments.

Today, after 25 years, the brand maintains its distinctive Parisian aesthetic and counts over 50 boutiques around the world - from New York and Paris to Hong Kong.

Isabel Marant creates ready-to-wear, accessories and eyewear for real - everyday life for women and men. Never a piece leaves her atelier unless she has tried it on herself first. She encourages handmade creations, quality and places special emphasis on eco-friendly and recyclable fabrics and materials.

Isabel Marant

Isabel Marant has aestheticised Parisian cool-girl chic by, paradoxically, reaching to all corners of the globe for inspiration—from the American West to the French Riviera. Cultivating what Vogue describes as a “nomadic” look, the design house has accrued a cult following among fashion’s elite.

It’s a covetable image that the designer herself has been developing since the inception of her first knitwear and jersey brand, Twen, in 1989. In 1995, she debuted her eponymous label with a larger ready-to-wear offering. Despite offering fresh designs each season, Marant stays true to her identity—a French "sprezzatura", if such a thing exists.
